The winner of the World Cup finals walks away with the ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy. Different trophies were made every year until 1999, when the current trophy was created as the first permanent prize.

It was designed by Paul Marsden of Garrard & Co. in London, the company that designed the English Premier League trophy and the Royal Ascot Gold Cup. According to Sportstar, it is one of the biggest trophies awarded for a world event with a net weight of 11 kg and a height of 65 cm. In comparison, the FIFA World Cup weighs just six kg and is 37 cm tall.
The winner of each edition of the World Cup is awarded a replica, and the actual trophy is taken to the ICC headquarters in the UAE.
