The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, also known as TMNT or Ninja Turtles are four fictional teenage anthropomorphic turtles.They came alive in a comic book series, which went on to become a cartoon and movie series.
They are named after the Italian renaissance artists, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael. Trained by their sensei in the art of ninjutsu, they battle petty criminals, evil overlords, mutated creatures, and alien invaders while attempting to remain hidden from society. Their home is in the sewers of New York City.
Each of them have their own distinct personality that makes them stand out. They’re also each skilled with a weapon of choice.
Leonardo – the leader, wears a blue mask and wields two swords.
Michelangelo – free-spirited, relaxed and goofy, he wears an orange mask and wields a pair of nunchaku.
Donatello – the scientist, inventor, engineer, and technological genius, he wears a purple mask and wields a bo staff.
Raphael – a bit aggressive, he wears a red mask and wields a pair of sai.
