Puppets shows are fun, right?
A puppet is an object that often resembles a human or an animal or a mythical figure. It is manipulated by a person, called a puppeteer, who uses his hands, arms or rods and strings to move the body, head, limbs and even mouth and eyes of the puppet. The puppeteer also speaks in the voice of the puppet adding spice to the performance.
Puppetry can be traced back to the 5th century BC in Ancient Greece. The versatility and flexibility afforded by puppetry enables it to be used anywhere. The variety of puppets, and the wide range of materials that are used ensures that it is a perfect entertainer.
