Have you ever wondered where your favourite author lived and wrote? Perhaps in a secluded cottage by the lake, or an ancient 18th century mansion? Sounds fascinating, doesn’t it?

Here are some glimpses into the houses of illustrious writers – Mark Twain, William Shakespeare and Lord Byron. Can you unravel their images? Choose an author under ‘Image’, pick a difficulty level under ‘Shuffle’, choose the size of the ‘Grid’, and get going!

Mark Twain’s house is located in Hartford, USA. It is here that he wrote many of his well-known works including The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The house is now a museum.

William Shakespeare was born in this house in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. He spent his childhood years there.

Lord Byron inherited Newstead Abbey in Nottinghamshire, England, when he was ten. It was his ancestral home, and now houses a museum.
