Yoga has become very popular abroad over the last couple of decades. One primary reason being that - Yoga acts a fine balance to the hectic modern day environment. As far as students are concerned, there is a wide range of positives. Yoga involves a combination of breathing and movement and can help ease the mind from academic and social stress. Scientifically stating, breathing regulates oxygen supply, aids the brain and thus, "clears the mind" as everyone put it.

With a lot of people opting for desk jobs, yoga relaxes your muscles which might have been cramped, or stressed, with you sitting in the same position. Yoga , which was traditionally taught in schools in India is making its way into schools abroad, with plenty of people signing up. Here are a few things that Yoga does,

One of the most popular proponents of Yoga was the late B.K.S Iyengar who actually practiced yoga till the age of 96! So, playing sports, a healthy diet and maybe some Yoga would be a great balance and something that every student should try to achieve.
