With Pongal upon us, we’re all gearing up for the festivities that come with it (and school holidays!). Play, create, make and innovate this festive season!

Today, using Scratch, we are going to make a simple animation movie on Pongal.
Step 1: Download Scratch
Step 2: Ask yourself the following questions
a. What is Pongal?
b. What is the significance of Pongal?
c. Importance of rice to Indians
d. Different days of Pongal festival?
e. What is it called in different parts of India?
Step 3: Write a script of your own about Pongal.
Step 4: To start, use the Scratch script below and create a simple animation that depicts Pongal.
