Onam is a grand festival celebrated in the state of Kerala. Falling between August and September, it marks the summer harvest and is celebrated with numerous festivities such as Vallam Kalli (boat races), Pulikali (tiger dances), Pookalam (flower arrangements) and more. This year, the festivities will take place from August 20 to 31.
