Dogs are man’s best friends and the most adorable creatures on earth. Even more adorable and harder to resist are puppies. Some puppies just might surprise you with how they look when they’re adults.

Take a look at the following pups. Move the slider from the left to the right to see how they transform into something so different that you might not even recognise them.

Briards are herd and guard dogs that originate from Brie in France. You might wonder just how easy it is for it to see with all that fur! An adult has a big, shaggy coat, as well a beard and a cascade of hair over its face, which you won’t find on a young pup.

The Hungarian Puli isn’t that large as an adult. As a pup gets older, there is a big change in its appearance. Its coat requires daily grooming and starts to grow out and clump easily – resembling a mop! It takes four to five years to grow out completely.

Afghan Hounds have been famous for their elegant beauty. The thick, silky, flowing coat that is the breed’s crowning glory isn’t just for show — it serves as protection from the harsh climate in mountainous regions where the breed originally was found.

Dalmatians are born with pure white fur but, as they grow, spots of black pigment start to appear. Over a few weeks, the pigment darkens, and the fur starts growing through it. These spotty coats make the Dalmatians unique. They can have around 250 to 300 spots on an average.

Great Danes are one of the largest dog breeds in the world. But before developing a graceful body or droopy mouth, the Great Dane puppy will be all legs and feet. In adulthood, the Great Dane stands anywhere from 28-35 inches and may weigh between 100-200 pounds.
