Cyclone Vardah recently made landfall in Chennai, causing destruction and damage. Trees across the city bore the brunt of the cyclone, with many of them being uprooted.

Bring Back Green is an initiative by The Hindu Friends of Chennai to help bring back the city's green cover. The campaign will focus on conservation, restoration and transformation, working towards making Chennai green again.
