Children’s Day Contest
The Hindu Young World presents 'Get Lucky'!
India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was fond of children. That is why his birthday, which falls on November 14, is celebrated as Children’s Day.
On this day, the focus of celebrations is usually on promoting awareness of the rights, care and education of children.
If you could pick a theme for this year’s Children’s Day, what would you choose? The first five most innovative and thoughtful entries will win prizes. E-mail your entries to youngworld@thehindu.co.in with the subject line “Get Lucky”. Or mail: The Hindu Young World, 859/ 860, Anna Salai, Kasturi Buildings, Chennai - 600002. Don’t forget to mention your name, class and school details.
