Having a party? Here’s a simple party popper you can make for the occasion. You don’t even need a lot of materials and the best part is that it’s reusable!

Materials: Cardboard roll (empty toilet roll) – small. You can also use a small paper cup, balloon, colour papers, scissors and glue

Steps:

1. Cut a balloon in half and retain the bottom half. Knot the opening if its too wide so that the confetti doesn’t spill out.

2. Stretch and wrap the bottom half of the balloon around an opening of the cardboard roll.

3. Wrap the cardboard tube with a colour paper of your choice. It must cover the balloon as well.

4. Cut small bits from colour papers to make your confetti.

5. Put the confetti into the cardboard roll and hold it upright. Pull on the balloon tip and release. Watch the confetti “pop” out of the roll and make a colourful splash!
