Drawing the human face especially the eye is important. There are various techniques to draw the eye. It depends on what pencil and paper we use. If we are doing a generic drawing with pencil or crayons, we can alternately use light pencil shades and dots. When you draw on thick paper, art paper or canvas, there is already a texture.
