Fitness is vital to healthy living. Did you know that there are three elements of fitness? They are endurance, strength and flexibility.

Endurance

Endurance activity keeps your heart, lungs and circulatory system healthy and helps in improving your overall fitness.

Strength

Strength is the “power” that helps you to lift and carry heavy objects. Without strength, your body would be weak and unable to keep up with the demands placed upon it. Improving strength doesn’t have to mean lifting weights. Push-ups, stomach crunches, pull-ups, and other exercises to help tone and strengthen muscles.

Flexibility

Flexibility is one of the most important, yet often overlooked, components of physical fitness. Without flexibility, the muscles and joints would grow stiff and movement would be limited.
