Goals in finals!
On Wednesday, May 29, 2019, Pedro scored Chelsea’s second of four goals in their 4-1 victory over Arsenal in the UEFA Europa League final that was played at Baku, Azerbaijan.
By scoring this goal, Pedro became only the fifth footballer to score in the finals of both a European Cup/Champions League and UEFA Cup/Europa League.
Pedro, in fact, has an impressive collection of silverware in his career, having amassed 25 trophies so far. This includes five La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey crowns, four Supercopa de Espana titles, three Champions League titles, three European Super Cups and two Club World Cups while in Barcelona. With Chelsea, Pedro has won the Premier League, an FA Cup and now the Europa League. And with Spain, he has won the European Championships in 2012 and the greatest prize of them all, the World Cup in 2010.
