A Venn diagram is a pictorial (circles and rectangles) representation of different elements of a common problem. Each circle is known as a ‘set’. Venn diagrams allow you to sort data into two or three circles that overlap. Each circle follows a rule, so any numbers or objects placed in the overlapping area (the intersection) follow both rules.

For example, one set could have the multiples of 3 and the other the multiples of 5. The area where both sets intersect would be the numbers which are multiples of both 3 and 5 like, 15, 30 and so on.

Find solutions to these problems using the Venn diagrams.
