People go to a theatre to see plays and performances. A play or a drama is a story that is enacted for an audience. Theatrical productions feature elements other than a story like a musical or a puppet show, operas or ballets.

The main part of a theatre is the stage. The proscenium stage is the one commonly used. Here the action takes place under a large arch. The audience sits in front of the stage. Some theatres have a thrust stage, and this extends into the audience. They sit on three sides of the stage. The arena stage is where the audience sits all around the stage.

It takes several people to successfully produce a play. From the playwright to the director, to the lighting technician and the costume designer everyone plays an important role.

Can you find them in the theatre in this grid?
