Whether it is excavation, dumping or lifting, construction work involves moving heavy loads. While it is not possible for workers to lift tons of weights, heavy-duty machinery and vehicles provide necessary help. Construction vehicles are essential for all types of construction jobs, regardless of the size and scale. Whether it is the construction of a home building, or a large-scale civil or commercial project, these vehicles are a necessity

Bulldozer

The strongest type of vehicle, it is a tractor with a huge metal blade fitted at the front that is powerful enough to drive a massive magnitude of sand, soil, debris and so on. It has an exceptional grip on the ground and can be easily mobilised even on a patchy terrain.

Excavator

It is the most basic activity that takes place at every construction site. Since it is large-scale, heavy excavation equipment is needed. An excavator consists of a bucket, boom, dipper, and a cab that is located on a rotating platform (house). The house sits on the top of tracked or wheeled undercarriage. Excavators come in many sizes; the smaller ones are called compact excavators or mini excavators.

Dump truck

It is one of the most popular types of construction vehicles and is used to dump debris away from the construction site. It is also used to bring additional construction material to the construction site.

Cranes

They are the most useful construction vehicles. They are composed of pulleys and cables that allow them to lower and lift loads beyond the capabilities of humans. They do not just help in lowering and lifting loads, they also move material horizontally.
