Yes, the Theatre Olympics is an international theatre festival, where countries come together and promote the richness and diversity of theatre heritage. However, it is not conducted every year. Greek tragedy masks: The first edition of Theatre Olympics was held in 1995, focusing around Greek tragedy which is a form of theatre arts performed with masks. The masks have intensely exaggerated facial features and expressions.

Puppets: Puppeteers have been showcasing different theatrical traditions from diverse cultures, using puppets which are also gigantic at times, measuring up to the height of an elephant.

Red Fort: Theatre Olympics was hosted by India in 2018; it was inaugurated at the Red Fort and was held at 14 cities across the country.

Directors like Dinesh Yadav, from India, use the lost art of musical storytelling at the Theatre Olympics to narrate Indian epics and folklore.

Alexandrinsky Theatre: The ninth edition of Theatre Olympics held from June 15, 2019, was co-hosted by Russia and Japan at the Alexandrinsky Theatre, Saint Petersburg.
