Let’s look at an inspiration for an interesting design aspect from nature! One of nature’s most remarkable materials are the wings of butterflies!

The wings have scales and complex structures packed into a small size and reflect light in a way that specific wavelengths interfere with each other to create vivid colors! This has inspired the engineers at Qualcomm to apply this phenomenon on electronic screens that will increase their efficiency and can be viewed under various light conditions. Move the slider from right to left to look at the similarity in texture.
