2. She rose to prominence at age seven for her performance as Lucy Dawson in the drama film I Am Sam (2001), for which she was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award at age eight, making her the youngest nominee in history. 3. With a small part in Forrest Gump playing the title character’s son (also named Forrest Gump), he rose to fame for his performance as a young unwilling medium in M. Night Shyamalan’s thriller film The Sixth Sense, which earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He subsequently appeared in leading roles in several high-profile Hollywood films, including Steven Spielberg’s A.I. Artificial Intelligence and Mimi Leder’s Pay It Forward.

There’s a buzz in the air! This time, we have a flying inspiration…take a look at an interesting piece of innovation.

Whenever we think of flying mammals, there’s only one which comes to our mind – the bat! No wonder that they have been an inspiration for designers.

Most of the research projects are normally government initiatives in the field of military or healthcare and eventually find different uses. This time, they have come up with a solar powered spy-cam. Take a look – move the slider to get a perspective of how this looks in nature and in design!

The wingspan of the bat is similar in size to small solar panels/cells. There are some concepts being tested, including small cameras for stereo-vision, a set of mini-microphones that can track sounds from different directions, and even small sensors for nuclear radiation and poisonous gases!
