Did you know?

The Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci is widely proclaimed as the best known and most visited painting in the world. It is on display at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

The Girl with a Pearl Earring is an oil painting by Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, on display at the Mauritshuis in The Hague, the Netherlands.

Sometimes described as an icon of modern art, The Scream by Edvard Munch has been painted in four versions. The paintings are housed at the National Gallery and the Munch Museum in Oslo, Norway.
