The world is filled with various cultures, traditions and groups of people. Let’s take a look at a few of these groups of people and learn a little bit about them. Unravel the mixed-up grid to complete the image and keep reading to find out more.

1. Maasai:

The Maasai are an ethnic group of people living in southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. They are perhaps one of the best known people of Africa due to the fact that they have interesting customs and dresses and that they live near many of Africa’s most popular tourist attractions. The language the Maasai speak is called ‘Maa’. They pierce their earlobes and stretch them by wearing large, heavy earrings. They also wear a lot of colourful beaded jewellery.

2. Sardinians:

The Sardinians are the native people from Sardinia, a western Mediterranean island near Italy. Along with Italian and Spanish, they speak Sardinian. One of their most important celebrations is the ‘Sartiglia’, a thrilling tournament. People dress in various attires, and many wear masks as well.

3. Padaung:

The Padaung are a subgroup of people from the Karen people, an ethnic-minority from Myanmar. The women identify themselves by their forms of dress. They are well known for wearing neck rings, and brass coils that are placed around the neck, appearing to lengthen it. Girls first start wearing rings when they are around five years old and new rings are added until a maximum of 25 is reached.
