May 18 is International Museum Day. Museums are a great place to learn about about various things…from history, geography, science and more.

While being in lockdown means we can’t visit a museum for the time being, it doesn’t mean we have to stop learning from them. Many museums from across the world now offer free virtual tours that you can take to experience some of their exhibits.

Some museums you can virtually visit from the comfort of your home are:

– The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, U.S.

– The Louvre, France

– Van Gogh Museum, Netherlands

– The Vatican Museum, Vatican City

Some Indian museums such as the National Museum in New Delhi, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya in Mumbai, or the oldest and largest museum in India – the Indian Museum in Kolkata, offer online exhibitions and gallery’s where you can read about some of the artifacts and relics they have on display.

India is home to many museums with some rare and delicate artifacts, many from within India and some acquired from around the world. From fully built dinosaurs which were discovered in India, relics belonging to earlier civilizations such as the Indus Valley, artworks from great sculptors and artists, and as well as preserved Mummies from Egypt, you can find it all across the country.

Here is a game for you, here are some artifacts which you can find in museums across the country, but do you know which museum is their home?

Drag and drop the artifacts to the correct positions to find out which museum they belong to.
