The New Normal?

Is it April still? Or, did we never get past March? What? It’s May already? Excuse me if I seem out of it, but living in lockdown means I don’t know which day of the week it is sometimes, let alone the month.
What I do know is that lockdown restrictions have been easing up in some places. In Bengaluru, where I live, shops have opened up and we’re allowed to go out now. Except there’s really nowhere to go, unless you like shopping for groceries. No thanks.
On the one hand, I’m happy that the restrictions are lifting, because it means that at some point of time, things might get back to normal. Or, at least a new kind of normal? And on the other hand, I’m not all that happy. Why? Click on the plus sign to find out.
The Coronavirus sucks. I’m not saying it doesn’t. But it has made me wonder about just how much us humans have taken over the planet and left so little for the trees, plants and animals we share it with.
