Many trekkers set out on monsoon treks in the Himalayas or Western Ghats and find that their gear is soaked through and through. Most of them make the mistake of relying solely on a raincover for their backpack and a poncho or a raincoat for themselves.

But, when it rains like it does in the Himalayas, neither is a raincover enough for your backpack, nor is a poncho for your gear to remain dry. In this video, Swathi gives you some effective tips and a foolproof method to keep your gear dry.
