Where are the grasslands?
When the vegetation is dominated by grasses, these lands are known as grasslands. Grassland biomes (a large naturally occurring community of flora and fauna occupying a major habitat) are usually situated between a forest and a desert. There is a marked absence of trees and bushes. Grasslands occur naturally on all continents except Antarctica.
