The Tour de France is an annual multiple-stage bicycle race primarily held in France. It is made up of 21 stages over 23 days. It is the oldest of the three Grand Tours (the Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta a España being the other two) and is generally considered the most prestigious. The coveted yellow jersey is traditionally worn by the leader of the race.

The 2023 edition started off in Bilbao, Spain, on July 1 and will conclude at the Champs-Élysées, Paris, on July 23.

The below grid contains the name of one of the most successful riders at the competition, Belgian athlete Eddy Merckx. He won the Tour de France five times. Can you complete the grid? It’s just like a Sudoku, but with the letter MERCKX instead of numbers.
