Did you know that there’s a fancy name for the large muscle located in the side of your face, Arush? It’s called the zygomaticus major. Now, while this muscle is normally all in one piece, some people have a divide in the muscle. When this happens, it’s called a double or bifid zygomaticus, and it causes a small dent whenever the person breaks into a smile. Voila! Charming dimples!
