A fitness centre is a place where both people can work out, either for professional reason or for recreation. A fitness center may specialise in a certain type of sport/fitness discipline but most modern centres provide a variety of workouts. A fitness center is usually larger than an average gym, especially if it includes amenities such as pool, golf course, running tracks. They normally offer a range of group classes and individual workout programmes like yoga, zumba, boxing and so on. It provides the same machines and equipment for training and workout like in a gym, but offers a wider variety other amenities and programmes as well.

Felix’s 12th world title

By winning her 12th world title, Allyson Felix broke her tie with Usain Bolt and became the first athlete to claim 12 golds at World Championships. It was even more special because her latest gold was her first as a mother. Read more…

In late September, the U.S. won the mixed-gender 4x400m relay – an event that was being held at the IAAF World Championships for the first time ever. They did it in style in the event that was held in Doha, Qatar as they won the race in a world record time of 3:09.34.

Wilbert London, Allyson Felix, Courtney Okolo and Michael Cherry were the quartet who made it possible, claiming gold in the process. It was extra special for Felix as it was not only her first gold medal as a mother, but also her 12th gold medal in World Championships overall.

With her 12th world title, Felix broke her tie with sprint legend Usain Bolt and went past his tally of 11 World Championship golds.
