July 30 is International Day of Friendship. In India, it is commonly celebrated on the first Sunday of August. An entire day to celebrate friendship sounds like a great deal of fun, doesn’t it?
You can’t deny that your friends make life a lot brighter. You laugh a lot when you’re around them, and nothing seems too scary when you know they always have your back. If you thought humans were the only ones capable of forming bonds like this, get this: there are several examples of species in Nature that have a symbiotic relationship with each other, where they help each other and both benefit from the arrangement. This is called mutualism. Here are some examples of unlikely friendships.
